As the impact of climate change intensifies, vulnerable communities face an increasingly unbalanced fight against the threats to their environmental and social welfare.
We connect vulnerable communities and environmental and legal experts to collaborate and develop legal advocacy in international climate change scenarios, involving NGOs, local governments, and international advisers.
How it Works
Case by case, APID seeks to understand and co-generate advocacy tools for underserved and disproportionally impacted communities.
First, we identify communities based on the impact of several climate change factors (flooding, salinity, etc.), meet with community stakeholders and align objectives.
Then, we bring together members of international institutions, academia, professional practitioners as well as NGOs, local governments and vulnerable communities to elevate and actuate legal climate change action.
